Boutique- Much on this purpose-built precinct exists in the support of sport - like the huge outdoor TV screen and the Real Sports Bar next door (see Drink). But the classy Le Germain group's second Toronto venture remains coolly detached from Maple-Leaf mania. The aesthetic here is modern, with dominant shades of charcoal and zesty green, and the service is low-key and charming.
Rooms are minimalistic but warm, with inventive, secret-storage blonde-wood furniture. Similarly to its sibling property, an exposed glass shower divides the bedroom from the Molton Brown-stocked bathroom. There's a continental breakfast bar and lounge, and a cocktail bar for drinks and snacks (it's a short taxi ride to King Street West for dinner). -
