Budget- If you have small children in tow in need of entertaining, this huge Harbourfront hotel looms large behind the ferry terminal for Toronto Islands and its mini amusement park. If none of that applies to you, then come mentally prepared to encounter all these enthusiasts at the hectic eating extravaganza that is the breakfast buffet.
The good news is you're likely to have slept well in one of the Westin's 'Heavenly' trademarked beds, in a room with a lake view and quite possibly a balcony. The décor may be dated, but the upside for healthy types is a big, light-filled workout room, tennis/squash courts, and an indoor swimming pool. The restaurant, Toula, with panoramic views from the 38th-floor, serves excellent Italian dishes worthy of a visit. -
